Each piece of work produced by De Roeck revealed interesting details and bore witness to his great skills. He unveiled an effective technique in a black-red design (BBOU), which addressed two methods for forming the inner shape of a ‘B’ with or without rounded corners. Lucien De Roeck also left a few examples of calligraphic art, such as the name of the four seasons.
