The same can certainly also be said about his illuminating infographies of the allied forces’ tank movements in the international news sections of the Belgian press, which he drew on the eve of the German defeat. De Roeck possessed the extraordinary ability to visualise literally any location. He could express the essence of anything with his ever so personal, stylistic technique.
