Lucien De Roeck made his talent available to La Cité, Le Phare, Le Quotidien and Pan. He analysed an image in various different stages and he managed to make good use of this process in his theatre sections for Pan, a satirical Brussels newspaper. De Roeck used to visit the theatre every single week to create an illustration. Le Phare’s management team noticed that Lucien De Roeck had brought about a true revival of the paper.
