On the Grid: Designers Remembered
On the Grid: Designers Remembered
Prominent graphic designers and writers come together to discuss some of the designers exhibited in “Off the Grid”. The event is concluded with a round table discussion led by Hugo Puttaert, about the legacy of post-war Belgian graphic design. Jean-Michel Meyers is an Antwerp-based graphic designer and archivist of the Lucien De Roeck Fund. He discusses the life and works of his grandfather, Lucien De Roeck, during the nineteen sixties and seventies. This event is organised within the context of the “Off the Grid” Belgian graphic design exhibition from the nineteen sixties and seventies, through the eyes of Sara De Bondt.
