Restaurant van Ter Kameren Schets

Drawings

Sketching was one of Lucien De Roeck’s true passions. He was constantly working on drawings. The artist would always carry two or three sketch books in his pockets. He managed to fill up more than four hundred of these books during the course of his life. Lucien was fascinated by the facades and landscapes around Brussels, as well as by the port of Antwerp. He managed to emphasise the striking architectural elements in his sketches of Brussels.
